What to expect from the moment you step aboard our Mushi Mushi catamaran for your SNUBA® excursion Bonaire.
Departure
Welcome aboard the Mushi Mushi
After welcoming you aboard the Mushi Mushi, we depart from Nautico Marina in Kralendijk for your 4-hour trip through Bonaire’s stunning waters. Once on board, you’re offered a refreshing non-alcoholic drink while we motor to our dive site.
On the water
Briefing & gear up
Your certified SNUBA® guide gives you a full briefing on board: how the equipment works and what to expect underwater. We also fit your mask, fins, harness and weight belt before you get in the water.
At the reef
Practice at the surface first
Before descending, you’ll practice breathing from the regulator at the surface, so everything feels natural and comfortable before you go down. Take your time. There’s no rush.
The dive
Your SNUBA® dive
Time to explore. Your guide takes you on a guided tour of Bonaire’s reef, up to 20 feet deep. At your own pace and comfort level. There’s absolutely no pressure to descend: you can stay at the surface and breathe from the regulator while looking down at the reef or simply snorkel from above. We dive in two small groups, each with their own certified SNUBA® guide.
After the dive
Drinks, snacks & good vibes
Back on board, celebrate your first underwater breath with a cold beer, wine or rum punch. Enjoy our snack platter while taking in the beautiful view of Bonaire National Marine Park as we motor back to Nautico Marina.

After a 4-hour catamaran trip, we return to Nautico Marina. Your SNUBA® excursion in Bonaire is complete.
Prefer to snorkel? You’re welcome too.
Guests who prefer to snorkel are very welcome to join our SNUBA® excursion Bonaire and enjoy the reef from the surface. You’ll still experience the full boat trip, the drinks, the snack platter and the beautiful Bonaire scenery. With or without the SNUBA® dive.

Good to know before you book
Before you book your SNUBA® excursion Bonaire, here’s everything you need to know:
Guests must be at least 8 years old
Swimming experience and feeling comfortable in the water are required
Bring swimwear, a towel and reef-safe sunscreen
Pay the Bonaire Nature Fee before your trip
Arrive 10 minutes before departure at Nautico Marina, Kralendijk
SNUBA® is not recommended for guests with certain medical conditions, including pregnancy, heart conditions, lung disease or epilepsy
🌊 Bonaire Nature Fee: required for all water guests
All guests who enter the water are required to pay the Bonaire Nature Fee of $40 per year. This is mandatory for anyone snorkeling or diving in the Bonaire National Marine Park. You can pay online in advance via STINAPA Bonaire’s website
This fee is not mandatory for cruise ship passengers and residents with an official ID of Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, Sint-Maarten, Sint Eustatius, Saba and children under the age of 12.
Please note: After your SNUBA® dive, you should not fly for at least 4 hours. Please plan your travel accordingly.

About the SNUBA® tour
The full tour is 4 hours, including transport aboard the Mushi Mushi, the safety briefing and your time underwater.
If weather conditions make the tour unsafe, we will reschedule your booking if possible. Otherwise we offer a full refund. Your safety is our main priority.
Yes, bookings can be changed or cancelled up to 72 hours before departure. Cancellations between 48 – 72 hours before departure get a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 48 hours do not get a refund.
Yes. In case of a cruise ship, the SNUBA® tour is adapted to the docking times of your cruise ship. In this way you are always back on time.
